Hamburg, New York, home of the hamburger, will be the location of our 2010 International Rally. The village is considered part of the Buffalo Niagara Falls metropolitan area and offers plenty to do for everyone. With over 265 acres, the Erie County Fairgrounds, boasts that it is the largest county fair in the United States. Besides the camping facilities and all the buildings the fairgrounds includes a casino and live harness racing on the grounds. Just minutes from Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Canada, there is a variety of things to see and do. For the history buff there’s the Lockport Locks and the Erie Canal where you’ll be transported back to the 1820’s at the Erie Canal Discovery Center. Or in Buffalo you can visit the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park to tour the decks and hulls of a guided missile cruiser, destroyer and WWII submarine. The most famous attraction in the area is the breathtaking sights and sounds of the majestic Niagara Falls. At Niagara Falls State Park you can come face-to-face with the pounding waters of the falls at the Cave of the Winds or you can take a boat tour to the base of the falls to be up close and personal with the thundering roar and delicate mists. Nearby Chautauqua County is our country’s top grape-producing county outside of California. With some 20,000 acres of grape vines stretching along New York’s Lake Erie shore, the aroma each fall fills the air like spicy sweet incense. Just a short distance from the fairgrounds is the Ralph Wilson Stadium—home of the Buffalo Bills. We are planning tours, scheduling some interesting rally activities and booking some entertainment you’re sure to enjoy. We are looking forward to seeing you in New York in 2010.
